I'm from Torquay, a town on the South coast of Devon. I'm currently an undergraduate at The Queen's College, Oxford, studying Medicine. I have joined the Cornall lab, under the supervision of Chris Paluch, to carry out research as part of my third year FHS project. I'm looking at the effects of blocking multiple immune checkpoints on human immune cells with antibodies, an exciting field as such antibodies have the potential to be used as biological therapies in cancer treatment.
