I was born and raised on the small Channel Island of Guernsey. I completed my undergraduate and clinical medical training in Cambridge as a member of St John’s College. I then moved to Oxford to begin work as a junior doctor. After completing my foundation years I joined the Cornall lab in 2015 as a DPhil student funded by the Wellcome Trust Doctoral Training Scheme for Clinicians. I am co-supervised by Professor Simon Davis and my project looks at inhibitory receptors on immune cells, and the potential therapeutic applications of targeting them with superagonistic antibodies.
